Whilst replacing the transmission bearing on the FZ750, I came across another issue with the transmission oil seal during the change of one of the bearings. The oil seal was totally dead and needed changing. No point in trying to put a bad old part on a newly fixed bearing or you are going to have all kinds of issues in the future which will undo all your good work. Finding the right oil seal was straight forward using the tools Webike provide and cross referencing with Yamaha schematics. The price is really good value and along with some other parts for this bike, the shipping was good value too. EMS is my chosen courier and my order arrived swiftly in 5 days from being shipped. The oil seal came in the standard Yamaha packet and was inside a bubble wrap envelope for security. The oil seal itself is not really much to look at but you can see the quality is there from the off. There are no strange rubber extras attached as you see in some seals. It has a good amount of flexibility. But sturdy enough not to just rip upon install. After the overhaul of the main transmission bearing, this was a straight swap out. Thanks Webike, very pleased.
