Drain Washer Size is different…

'14 MC41CBR250R (Late stage) I bought this for use in
I was thinking of ordering an OEM Gasket for my OEMFilter, but the complete set of consumables needed to replace the Oil&Filter is not available in the Quantity:I bought it with confidence because it was a set and it was made by KITACO, a MAJOR manufacturer, and the cost was good, but there was a problem;

Filter, Gasket, Oil cap O-ring were included, and there was no problem to assemble and there was no oil leakage.
Not only did the inside diameter not match, but the outside diameter was also a smaller Drain Washer, so it was probably mixed in with something from a different car model…
Of course I checked the fitment, and the other Filter etc. were correct for MC41.

So I had to reuse the original Drain Washer by turning it upside down and tightening it a little tighter than the specified Torque & hellip;
I don't like to reuse packing like this because it's like a walking stick, but…

For now, there is no problem without Oil oozing etc.

Speaking of KITACO, it is a manufacturer that produces and sells various important internal engine parts and sub computers, etc. I did not think that it was a manufacturer that made such a common mistake as an inspection error.
If it is a drain washer, but if it is a camshaft or engine parts, it is not good for us.

Not all products will have the Size difference, so this is a good option for those who want to quickly get the parts needed for Oil&Filter replacement.

The Filter cover&Gasket of MC41 is raised a little because there is a little Habit in positioning.
The exchange itself is easy, even for Sunday mechanics, as long as you keep the essentials in mind.
