Fitting this to the front of the Monkey 125 is more noticeable handling wise then when fitting one to the rear. Not something I considered necessary in the past but as I continue to work on the Honda Monkey 125 I find it best to replace the cheaper parts as I am performing scheduled maintenance in that area.Products to buy together - While performing maintenance on the brakes and tires, I considered it the perfect opportunity to also replace the front axle collars with a lighter option ftom Kitaco.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the front axle is a simple task that took 0.5 of an hour to complete. A better looking and performing front wheel axle then the original Honda part with the black finish aligning with the black fork legs and light weight hollowed design assisting with less unsprung weight.Products to buy together, Kitaco have different length axles that can be used on the swing arm pivot and rear wheel axles and they can be added to your cart to further reduce the unspring weight on the Grom.Difficulty of installation, I can say the fitment of the front wheel axle for my installation was simple as access is straight forward and the nature of securing the axle between the lower fork legs is simple.Cost performance and comparison with other products, The pricing of the product is great. You receive an axle made from a quality material with a quality finish. I didn’t buy this axel for any weight saving I bought it for two primary reason 1) the axel bolt and nut are 17mm in size, going away from the stock 14 ands 17 mm varying sizing on the stock axel. Being hollow makes some weight saving but it hardly noticeable. 2)The most important factor for me was the black DLC coating makes the shaft removal and installation super easy. For the price everyone should get one.

KITACO Hollow Axle Shaft to be used on the front wheel of the Honda Grom (or Monkey) as they have the same size.A good option for the weight saving althought the weight I measured it's not quite as low as stated... Otherwise it would get 5 stars. But overall, it's another quality product from KITACO.
