GPZ900R Perfect Reset And Custom By Sanctuary
Sanctuary's GPZ900R
Kawasaki GPZ900R Ninja custom built by AC SANCTUARY. This Ninja custom is based on a Start Edition of the store's full custom RCM, which was built along with the Ninja Sports Package New TYPE-R menu. It actively uses the upgrade menu, but most of the customizations, such as the inverted front forks, front brake system, FCR carburetor, and metallic lime green exterior color, were all demands from the owner.
The definition of a Start Edition is a bike that is in good enough condition to be used as a custom base. This GPZ900R underwent various restorations before being customized. After all deterioration has been removed, the owner can upgrade the bike with confidence. Although it may be a bit of a stretch to call it as a base, the charm of RCM lies in the fact that such basic parts are built to the highest standards.
Handle
The metallic green paint job, which creates a light impression, was done by Paint Shop Okushin. The frame side boss that is attached in front of the steering head pipe to mount the cowl was repaired as it was cracked and decayed on almost all of the bikes, and other parts were also deteriorated in the same way.
The carbon monocoque body mirrors are NK-1 Mirror Type2 by Magical Racing, and the gauges are located on a one-off separated panel. A fuel gauge and a digital multi-function gauge are on the right side and the temperature and RPM gauge is on the left. Brake and clutch masters are by Gale Speed.
Bodyworks
The seat is DAYTONA RCM concept seat that also improves comfort and maneuverability. Position is adjusted in conjunction with the handlebar.
Engine
The engine has been overhauled and repair parts for the Ninja Final Edition (A16) are incorporated. The exterior is also gun-coated to make it look even better than a new model. The crankshaft distortion was adjusted and journal-wrapped. The pistons are Φ74.5mm by Wossner and displacement is 958cc with 55mm stroke. Valve guides are replaced and valve seats are cut.
A FCR-MJN Φ39mm black body was chosen for the carburetor, and the electrical system has been converted to Uotani SP2.
Intake & Exhaust
Nitro Racing's exhaust system consists of a Titanium Exhaust Half Polished and a Grenade Titanium V-II Silencer Heat Polished.
Chassis
The front forks are of Ohlins' New Inverted Front Fork 21 FF5210 E x M package. SCULPTURE Type-1 stem with a 37mm offset. The front brake consists of a Brembo GP4 RX caliper and a SUNSTAR Works Expand Φ320mm brake disc.
The RCM-specific wide swingarm by SCULPTURE, equipped with a stabilizer, provides stability and enhances the performance of the bike. The rear shocks have been replaced with Ohlins, which are compatible with the Ninja's 17-inch wheels.
The brake system has been almost entirely reconfigured by SANCTUARY's upgrade menu. The caliper is Brembo CNC Nickel Plated 2-piston and the rear brake disc is SUNSTAR WORKS EXPAND. The wheels are OZ Racing GASS RS-A in 3.50-17 for the front and 5.50-17 rear.
