Here is a "YAMAHA WR250R" custom by Webike community user "Bon-chan". The owner is so skilled in maintenance that he can assemble his own engine. However, his previous TT250R had broken down, and there were no parts available, so he switched to a WR250R. This bike is tough and does not break easily, even after a few falls. Despite tackling serious off-road courses, it has not broken down so far. Yet, even a tough bike needs to be protected so that you can ride it longer with fewer problems. ZETA Armor Handguard Bend was installed to protect the front brake master and clutch lever in the event of a fall. There are many different manufacturers, but Zeta sets the standard for handguards. It has successfully protected the levers each time the bike has tipped over. It also demonstrates sufficient endurance in terms of mechanism, structure, and strength, while boasting a smart design. A rugged ZETA Enduro Skid Plate, made of 3mm-thick aluminum plate, guards even the base of the water pump. It is recommended to install this plate before any damage is caused by stepping stones. When you ride wildly on the course, you will hit the bottom of the bike quite a bit, but thanks to this plate, you can enjoy your ride with peace of mind. To increase the power of the bike, the SP TADAO POWERBOX Pipe was installed. It is a good product that can easily boost the torque of a 250cc bike, and the torque increases in each gear as if it were one gear lower. The increased torque makes handling easier, allowing for a more relaxed ride even in fixed 6th gear, which is difficult to achieve with the stock setup. After installing the SUNSTAR Off Road Use Rear Sprocket, the bike can now accelerate in gears that used to stall on uphills, and the initial acceleration has improved by 25%. The sprocket is light in weight, has good mud removal, and is very durable. Considering the fact that aluminum products tend to wear out at a fast rate and need frequent replacement when used off-road, this sprocket is a very cost-effective product. With carefully selected modifications and protective measures, the owner has been able to enjoy countless adventures without major setbacks.
