Heavily Used But Still Go Strong: WR250R Custom

 4 min read

Webike's Opinion

Here is a "YAMAHA WR250R" custom by Webike community user "Max". In high-displacement models and low-displacement models, there is a difference in power and bike weight. However, according to him, the WR250R doesn't make you feel many disadvantages. He is a rider who has accomplished long-distance tours of over 3500 km in the past, but it seems that the secret to not making handling mistakes due to accumulated fatigue lies in its light weight of 130 kg. Equipment such as fog lamps dedicated to the SEROW and KTM's handle guards have supported his tours so far. The engine is quite old, so each part is carefully maintained. The ignition plug has also been replaced with a high-quality iridium plug from NGK. The ZETA's footpegs, which are resistant to dirt, are made of aluminum and have excellent strength, making them recommended for not only heavy users like him but also others. The front and rear wheels have also been replaced with motocross ones, making the bike capable of going to more diverse places.
