Custom Revolution's Ninja 1000 (Z1000SX)

Ninja cowls have a strong popularity. There are various reasons for this, such as a design that is recognizable to anyone who sees it, and a form and function that can be achieved with the upper cowl alone, but another reason may be that the upper cowl does not look out of place when installed on other models. This is the 2018 model of Ninja1000 with its old type Ninja cowl. And that cowl is made by Custom Revolution.

Custom Revolution has produced numerous Ninja cowls over the years. This custom is also finished with GPZ900R's coloring, which combines the ebony and pearl cosmic gray with gold lines, and the placement of gold-colored parts in key places. The center cowl was omitted to show off the engine area and give the bike a lighter, more nimble feel.

Bodyworks

The upper cowl and its brackets, which are shaped like the GPZ900R, are made by Custom Revolution. Optional ducts with mesh are added to the lower left and right sides of the cowl.

Electrical

The meter is placed on a custom carbon panel by Custom Revolution, using the Ninja1000 stock meter. A DC power socket is added to the left of the panel, and a Quad Lock smartphone holder is also installed. The headlight is converted to LED for power saving, which is helpful for touring.

Engine

The frame and engine are Ninja1000. The undercowl is by Custom Revolution, which also added mesh ventilation holes.

The radiator core guard, clutch cover guard, engine sliders are also added.

Intake & Exhaust

AKRAPOVIC Titanium Full Exhaust System and the rearsets are by BABYFACE. The rear shocks are by Ohlins.

Chassis

The wheels and the aluminum swingarm are retained. The pillion step bars are by BABYFACE.
