I would like to leave a comment as a person who has used it because there is not too much general User Review and information.
I started to use it at the same time as the FOR JAPAN MODEL sales started, but even after I started to use it, it was only a report of the announcement test drive event, and I could hardly get any information and became a self human pillar by exploring. The United States DealerSite published the reference air pressure of the Q4 with warm and cold sensation, but in Japan, it is assumed to run on public roads, so they do not want to post such information?
Anyway There's no information. This is probably the largest winning point of this Tire.
This is the first time I've used it in the Circuit 8:2 Touring.
Grip power This is very good. Before and now, I am using Pirelli Supercorsa F/SC1 and R/SC2, and I think it is the same or more than the grip power. I think the grip feeling is similar to SC1 both front and rear.
Handling The grip is too strong or the ride is a little stiff. I have lowered the air pressure to the same level as the Spacol, but the tire just wobbled and I didn't feel like I could adjust the amount of crush like the Spacol. But I was afraid to knead and twist with this grip power.
I think that it is relatively easy to warm up though the manufacturer also sells this. I also thought that the temperature dependence was not as delicate as Spacol. However, rain is not good. It rained in the first circuit after I changed it, but I thought it was not impossible to run at that time. I thought it was not impossible to run in the rain, but in the second rain and in the touring rain, I had no feeling of the ground and was only afraid.
I think it is considerably hard to decrease compared with Spacol, but it is only appearance, and deterioration is fast. Almost one year (1Season) The grip power disappears in the following, and it becomes the one below Normal tire. Well, I think it's enough if it can last 1 year in Circuit + Touring, but after that, it's really useless, so be careful not to be misled by the appearance.
It's very good for circuit use, and it's 10-20% cheaper than Spacol.
I think that it is good for the person who wants to use it for occasional touring though it is not so severe but it can run more than intermediate Circuit.
Because it is not necessary to be troubled with the kind of Compound like the Spacol, and temperature and air pressure can be managed even if it does not become nervous so much, it goes to Circuit by itself, and it is recommended even for people who do not use Tire warmer! (As expected, it is too expensive to keep the NORMAL air pressure.) 。
It's also easy to replace after a year of use.
I was the same way, but with Spacol, Compound's options are limited. (You can't choose SC1) It is also recommended for those who run Circuit with Tourer or NAKED system.
The Dunlop User fee is Gold, so you can save a lot of money at Dunlop-sponsored driving events.
I'm hoping to get a Q4 again next time too.
However, I do not recommend it for those who do not run Circuit. If you want to use it for touring, you should think about it. In the cold season, it won't grip at all, and even in the warm season, it's not a good idea because the tire will get cold even if you drive fast for a long time.
I installed it for Circuit and Winding driving.
I usually wear Super Corsa SC1s, so this is a good comparison, but I felt that the front was hard and needed to be squashed to get grip. The rear is softer than the front, and it is very easy to feel the grip when accelerating. The overall grip of the Q4 is 90-95 compared to the Super Corsa SC1 at 100. Personally, I think the pattern is very cool, like a cut slick, so I'd like to continue using it. Since these tires are temperature-dependent, they are not recommended for people who only do touring. This tire is recommended for those who do sports driving.View Detail
In December, under cloudy skies and a road temperature of 5 degrees Celsius, the Motegi Full Course took 30 minutes and times; Quantity:Here's a picture after the 2pc run
I've been running in winter with other Tire for Circuit, but when the road temperature is low, it's not a good idea Even in one run, the Tire's Tread felt more egregious than it was shaving In no time at all, the Tire was out of shape and unable to bend
Especially, Japan's Circuit has a lot of right-handedness, and even at Motegi, the rear tire Only the Right Side is egregious, and then the RightCorner will not bend at all
But I was surprised at how little this Tire shaved off the Tread
Grip is not a problem on a layman's level, and the bank angle of the VFR800 is not a problem It's hard to tell much because the exhaust pipe underneath the belly will be grounded first, but I'm not sure how far it will go I was under the impression that I could put it to sleep I don't know yet how durable it is
Dunlop is a favorite of mine because of the cheap price of Tire, but this Q4 is made in USA! That's why the price is so high, and that's why it's MinusView Detail
