[Features of Iridium IX plug]
Iridium IX plugs are high performance plugs with a faster combustion spread than general plugs and with a thermo edge at the tip of the insulator to improve plug fouling.
Iridium alloy is used for the center electrode.
The electrodes are finer than those of platinum to improve the ignition performance.In addition, this plug is resistant to carbon contamination by the thermo edge effect.

・Easy to spark and excellent in ignition performance.

[About the shape of the plug terminal]
●Select a terminal shape that matches the engine and plug cord installation side.
There are three types of plug terminals: integrated type, separate type, screw type, and punch-and-caulk type.
Mainly, "integral type" and "punch caulking type" are used for four-wheeled vehicles and "screw type" for two-wheeled vehicles, and "separate type" is available for plugs used for both four-wheeled and two-wheeled vehicles.
In addition, the terminal part of the "separate type" can be removed, but the terminal part of the "integrated type" and "punch-and-caulk type" cannot be removed.If you try to remove it forcibly, the terminal part may be broken.
In case of using the "separate type" as the "screw type", remove the terminal nut.
When using the product with the terminal nut attached, make sure that it is not loose, and if it is loose, tighten it lightly with pliers or the like.

Decided to give the CR9EHIX-9 iridium IX plug a go to see how it performed and was impressed
About quality and texture - The CR9EHIX-9 spark plug from NGK is a iridium IX plug with a heat rating of 9, made using high quality processes and materials.About the feeling of use - After installing the big bore kit and using the manufacture recommended CR9EH9 standard resister plug without any issues, I decided to give the CR9EHIX-9 iridium IX plug a go to see how it performed and was impressed.Products to buy together - With the spark plug being a regular service item, key products to purchase when carrying out maintenance on my Honda Grom would be crush washers, gaskets and the like as these products are cheap and convenient to have on hand.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the CR9EHIX-9 spark plug is an simple task that took 0.2 of an hour to complete. Some mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is all that is required to firstly check the gap between the center electrode and the ground electrode and then install the spark plug onto the cylinder head.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products NGK sell to great value when compared to what most other companies sell their products for and the CR9EHIX-9 spark plug is no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the CR9EHIX-9 spark plug, I chose EMS for an earlier arrive date. Iridium spark plugs are considered to be more reliable and durable than standard spark plugs. I can't say much about their durability yet, as the product is new. It took less than one minute to replace them. The engine started right away. All in all, I am satisfied with the product. Many thanks to Webike.

This is what all engines needs
I just replaced normal NGK plugs with these irindium version and the difference is like day and night. Now the engine responds well. Finishes the revs completely. Although I have just tested the fuel consumption and its the same but I was fast due to better throttle response. I recommend.
