Recommended custom parts for the traditional CB1100/EX/RS!
The CB1100, CB1100EX, and CB1100RS were the last HONDA models to be equipped with an air-cooled four-cylinder engine, and their discontinuation on the Japanese market marked the end of the CB1100 series. The final edition was so popular that the planned number of 1,600 for the year were sold within three weeks, and the order period had to be cut short. Here we will introduce some of the most popular custom parts for the CB1100, a traditional naked model that has evolved over the years!
Let's start with some handy items you'll definitely want to have!
P&A International: Meter Panel Protection Film & Attachment Set
Just as we put anti-scratch sheets on the screens of our cell phones, now is the time to put them on our meters as well. We recommend that you put them on right after purchasing a new bike! It will protect the meter panel from abrasions caused by dust and sand that can accumulate when parked or hit the meters while riding.
Force-Design: Carbon Tank Protector
These tank protectors are made of carbon and can be used to give off a high-class feel. Scratches on the tank caused by belt hooks and fasteners inevitably occur when riding. Protect your beautiful flangeless tank with these tank protectors!
DOREMI COLLECTION: Oil Temperature Gauge
Recommended for those concerned about overheating in the summer! This oil temperature gauge allows you to easily check the temperature, and the look of the analog meter matches perfectly with the feel of the bike!
Popular exhausts that are all a perfect match!
MORIWAKI ENGINEERING: One-Piece Full Exhaust
HONDA x MORIWAKI are always the perfect combination and with this traditional one-piece exhaust you can get that classic style! The CB1100 weighs over 250kg, with the stock dual exhaust weighing in at 15.5kg. This full exhaust weighs only 7.1kg, which is less than half of the stock exhaust, leading to a significant weight reduction. We recommend MORIWAKI's one-piece exhaust for its cool style and easy handling!
OVER RACING: SS Megaphone Slip-on
Since it's a slip-on, installation is relatively easy. The design is close to the stock with its sharp megaphone style, so it's a good choice if you want to customize without compromising the stock look. Of course, it is an excellent slip-on exhaust that reduces weight and improves performance.
r's gear: Wyvern Classic Titanium Single Megaphone Type
Here we have a 4-2-1 single right-side full exhaust from r's gear. Since it's made of titanium, it is extremely lightweight, weighing in at 4.9kg, about 70% lighter than the stock 15.5kg. Furthermore, the torque and power are increased! You can expect a large performance increase of approximately 10PS! The exhaust pipe is beautifully colored at the base, and the silencer is a classic megaphone style, which fits perfectly with the look of the bike.
World Walk: Exhaust Guard
Since the CB1100 weighs over 250kg, it is rather difficult to maneuver when the engine is switched off, and there are probably some people who have tipped it over when pushing it. We have introduced some of our recommended exhausts, but you're sure to get bummed out if your custom exhaust gets scratched, and you might even lose a bit of love for your bike. We would like to introduce a convenient item to protect that exhaust as well as the rest of the body from just such a situation! World Walk's Exhaust Guard is great because the end made of Duracon sticks out past the footpeg, enabling it to protect the exhaust and body from scratches if the bike falls over.
Guards to protect the bike body!
HONDA: Engine Guard
This engine guard is a HONDA stock accessory. It has a simple design that does not protrude greatly to the side, so its style matches the body of the bike. It is an essential item that not only looks good but also protects in the event of a fall or other accident!
OVER RACING: Engine Slider
Here is an engine slider from OVER RACING. Because of its superior strength and durability, it slides and scrapes without breaking, protecting the bike's body and reducing damage. In addition, the base plate bends in the event of a fall, minimizing damage to the frame and other parts, a detail that has been well thought out.
YOSHIMURA: Oil Cooler Core Protector
Pebbles and debris kicked up by the front tire, insects flying toward the headlight, all kinds of things can damage the radiator core. In some cases, there is a risk of damage to the water line which can cause coolant leakage. If you need to replace your radiator (Part No.: 15600-MGC-003), it would cost 26,730 JPY for the parts alone. To avoid such an expense, we'd recommend installing a radiator core guard.
K-FACTORY: Radiator Core Guard
The center of this radiator core guard is made of fine mesh to improve protective performance, while the sides are made with a larger honeycomb mesh pattern to improve the cooling effect. K-FACTORY's radiator core guard has a simple design that can also be used to dress up your bike in a casual manner!
Cargo racks to prepare for touring!
HONDA: Rear Rack
This rear rack is also a stock accessory. A rear rack will be necessary for long rides or overnight touring. The CB1100 has a long seat, so you could place a bag on the pillion part of the seat, but depending on the bag, it may not sit right and might interfere with your ride. With a rear rack, you can carry your bags without worrying about your seating position. This rack has a load capacity of 8.0kg, which is strong enough to carry a large amount of cargo!
ENDURANCE: Rack with Pillion Grip
The ENDURANCE rear rack is equipped with a grab bar that is convenient for pillion riders and when pushing your bike. The 8.0kg load capacity, which is the same as HONDA's, allows for the necessary amount of cargo. The pipe size is Φ22mm, the same diameter as a standard handlebar, making it easy to mount a helmet lock or action camera.
Exterior parts that allow you to create your own unique style!
CHIC DESIGN: Road Comet
The Road Comet lineup from CHIC DESIGN is a bikini cowl that has become popular for various models. There are two shapes to choose from, and you can make your choice based on style and wind protection performance.
Road Comet 1: Standard design bikini cowl with slightly rounded edges.
Road Comet 2: Bikini cowl with a sharp form that creates a bold front face.
The windshields are available in clear and smoke colors, and the cowl color can be set to match the bike's stock color so that it doesn't look out of place!
BLESS R'S: Single Seat Cowl
You can transform your CB1100 into a cafe racer style with BLESS R’S single seat cowl! It comes with a bracket to secure it to the back side of the seat for easy installation. Designed to match the shape of the tank, it is a great fit that doesn't affect the overall balance of the bike's look.
BLESS R'S: Short Rear Fender
This short rear fender preserves the CB1100 look by keeping the shape of the original fender while adding a sporty feel. The license plate mount is also set higher to give the rear area a simple, clean look.
ACTIVE: Subframe
This subframe stabilizes behavior during cornering and braking by increasing the bike's rigidity. It also dresses up the appearance in a casual way and gives it a more powerful look. In the event of a fall, it can also serve as an engine guard, making it a "three birds with one stone" item!
DAYTONA: Grab Bar
This DAYTONA grab bar matches the style of the CB1100. It is designed to fit in with the feel of the bike, and it also tightens up the overall look. The bar shape makes it easy for pillion riders to grip, and it is a versatile item that can also be attached to the stock bolts with hooks!
Find your own CB1100 style!
The CB1100 series became even more popular and exciting with the release of the Final Edition last year. It can be used for touring, winding roads, and city riding, and you can customize it to your liking to enjoy a fulfilling motorcycle life!
