Full Carbon Specifications: SV650X Custom
A-TECH's SV650X
A-TECH, which has recently produced bodywork parts for Suzuki's KATANA and BMW's G310R, has developed many aftermarket parts for the SV650/X, which has a strong fan base mainly in Europe. A total of 93 different parts are available, including different materials and finishes. Basically, the bodywork parts for the SV650X are designed by A-Tech to be cohesive. Therefore, some parts have the same shape as the stock, some are extended from the stock parts, and some are modified from the stock parts.
For example, the radiator hose cover SPL is extended from the stock by approximately 100 mm. A-TECH decided that placing a part with the same shape in the same location as the stock one would be a little too conspicuous. Therefore, A-TECH studied and found a cohesive look by extending the length. Their experience in handling a large number of bodyworks was put to good use in this area. With the exception of the sliders and radiator core guards, most of the products are available in five types: FRP (black and white gel), which is in the lower price range and easy to repair; plain-weave and twill-weave carbon, which offers a luxurious feel and high strength; and carbon Kevlar. It is also possible to use all carbon to enhance the dress-up effect, or to use FRP to create a unique look, including painting. The SV650X, which until now had almost no choice when it came to customization, now has a new way to have fun.
Engine
A radiator core guard was also developed to prevent damage to the radiator from insects and pebbles while riding.
The stock radiator cover has a triangular cutout for visual change, but A-TECH differentiates itself in terms of design by molding the surface plainly, while conforming to the size and other aspects of the stock radiator cover.
Bodyworks
An undercowl is also available for those who enjoy track racing with the SV650X. The under cowl is compatible with the stock exhaust and can be used with the side stand, making it easy to use on the street.
Tank covers are often requested to prevent scratches on the tank.
The SV650/X has a cover between the gasoline tank and the frame, and to enhance this texture, A-TECH also produced a tank front cover.
The side covers are also made in the stock shape. A tank guard for the rear brake fluid cup was also made, which is unexpectedly conspicuous due to the black frame.
Rear tires can cause dirt and scratches around the rear of the vehicle. A rear fender with an integrated chain cover is also available to reduce such dirt splattering.
A dry carbon cover is also provided as a change rod guard. The use of high-strength dry carbon ensures safety, since any deformation in the event of a fall would interfere with riding.
In recent years, demand for sliders and guard parts has been particularly high, regardless of the model, and A-Tech has prepared not only cowls but also sliders and guards for the SV650X. In particular, the roller-type stand hook sliders can be installed together with the company's drive chain guard, and can also be used as racing stand hooks.
