HONDA DAX Custom
Japanese Custom Culture
Webike's Opinion
Here is a "HONDA DAX" custom by Webike community user "DAXRIDER". This DAX, which was renewed in 1995, has been ridden for 25 years since the owner bought it when he was a college student. And now he still uses it for commuting. It's an vintage bike that is both nostalgic and stylish, but it seems to have been customized with an emphasis on atmosphere. The DAX has a very small fuel tank capacity so it is not suitable for long trips. The combination of SP TAKEGAWA Bomber exhaust with Φ80 silencer and Φ35 exhaust pipe produces a great exhaust note that lives up to the name of "Bomber". The rearsets part was carefully customized with G-craft shift guides and seesaw pedals. For wheels, G-craft 10-inch 4 spoke wheel kit was installed. The rear shock is an aluminum absorber by SP TAKEGAWA, which improves riding stability on the street and also helps to reduce the weight of the rear shock itself. While this bike has been customized in various ways, it can be seen that it is not too flashy, but overall cohesive. Although breakdowns are inevitable after many years of riding, restoring a beloved vintage bike is a unique pleasure for its owner, isn't it?
